Rock Your Layover: Atlanta

The Atlanta skyline that will greet you if you have a layover
Have a layover coming up in Atlanta? Wondering what you could do with your time? Here's a little inspiration.

We've gathered the following resources - tips, stories and layover ideas - to help you get the most out of your time here.

In a nutshell:
Home to the world's busiest airport, Atlanta sees its share of visitors on a layover. Luckily, the city has some iconic sights: Atlanta played a role as backdrop to Gone with the Wind, Martin Luther King, Jr. was born here (there's a National Historic Site here that bears his name), and the city hosted the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Good to know:
Unfortunately, Atlanta is considered to be one of the USA's most dangerous cities, so be alert after dark and avoid rough spots (ask locals or hotel staff for tips).
Atlanta street names are confusing, with 70+ streets with "Peachtree" in their name! When someone says "Peachtree" without clarifying, they mean Peachtree Street, a major north-south thoroughfare through Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead.
